Slippery Rock University Hispanic Fiesta Event

On September 25th, 2019, Slippery Rock University's Office of Inclusive Excellence, the Hispanic/Latino Cultures Planning Committee, and SOL (Student Organization for Hispanics, Latinos, and Allies) hosted a Hispanic Fiesta Event for their students at the Smith Center Ballroom from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. to honor Hispanic Heritage Month. The event featured Hispanic culture food and drinks, live music from Gavas Latin Beat-a Hispanic genre band from Pittsburgh, salsa dancing lessons, and various activities such as making Mexican tissue paper flowers.
